Susanna Reid explains how she still lives with her ex, even though he has a new girlfriend

Good Morning Britain presenter Susanna Reid has opened up about her decision to remain living with her ex-partner for the sake of their three children.
Susanna, 43, told the Sun she still had a "great relationship" with Dominic Cotton, despite him now having a new girlfriend.

She told the Sun's Fabulous magazine (£) it was also good for the kids to have both parents living with them.
We still [get] on so well, Dom is such a hands-on dad and we really co-parent. So we live separately but together and happily in the same house. I’m not saying everybody can do it, I definitely think people are surprised that we can do it this way.
Obviously we’ve been through a bit since splitting up, because a separation is always going to be sad. But it’s nice for the children that they know Mum and Dad are still there. I’m privileged to have a great relationship with my ex, to the point where we can live together comfortably and he can have a new relationship.

The star also spoke about her own experience of her parents' divorce, which happened when she was nine years old.
"I didn't think I'd stop crying. I’m not judging my parents in the way they did their divorce because [it] was totally normal, but when your parents split up it’s a very sad thing to happen," she said.

And she insists she has no hard feelings over Dom's decision to find a new partner on a dating site.
"We’d already split up, so he was entitled to join a site and start meeting new people. And I’m really happy he’s met a lovely woman.”
